The team at Leedam Sheppard & Associates is delighted to be a founding supporter of Wealth & Wellbeing, established to fund a 5-year Research Fellowship in the Cancer Theme of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI).
For some time now, the people within our firm have been keen to actively participate in a worthwhile cause to help fellow South Australians in need. In this regard, many of our team members have been impacted in some way by cancer, via a personal connection with family or friends who are battling this terrible disease. So, our direct involvement in this fundraising initiative was a very easy decision to make.
To find out more about what the Wealth & Wellbeing initiative is, I refer you to the following website: www.wealth-wellbeing.com.au.
On the website you will note a reference to the Investment Seminar on 11th April 2018 which will be held at the SAHMRI building (the ‘cheese grater’ building) on North Terrace. As a means of raising money for cancer research, the organisers are inviting people to attend the seminar at the SAHMRI building or view the seminar online (i.e. via a Digital Pass). To participate the donation in respect each of these ‘attendances’ is $250 and $50, respectively. Tickets to attend can be sourced from the website: www.eventbrite.com/e/2018-wealth-wellbeing-investment-seminar-tickets-43824012802
Alternatively, if you have a strong belief in cancer research and wish to make a donation without ‘attending’ the seminar, this can also be made via the website: www.wealth-wellbeing.com.au.
Our team looks forward to an ongoing involvement in this initiative and hope to make a positive contribution to the continued effort in finding a cure to help current and potential cancer sufferers. We hope that you may have a similar view.
